Teshuvos Ohr HaMeir – R. Meir Shapiro of Lublin, Piotrków 1926. With Handwritten Dedication by Author. - A complete copy of Sefer Teshuvos Ohr HaMeir, which contains 76 responsa authored by R. Meir Shapiro of Lublin, while serving as Rabbi of Piotrków.  This copy bears a handwritten inscription personally written and signed by the author which can be seen on the flyleaf.  It was written to his host and gifted in 1926, during his monumental year-long stay in America while fundraising on behalf of Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin. R. Meir Shapiro (1887-1933), Rosh Yeshiva and founder of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin. He is most famous for his Daf Yomi initiative, which is widely practiced till this very day.  This copy is complete in its original binding – which was personally held and touched by the author – the legendary founder of the Daf Yomi movement! In overall good condition. Paper browned, typical of Piotrków imprints of this era. Bound in original cloth binding. Flyleaf detached; missing spine.  [2], 162 pp.
