Fragments of Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, Yemen. Circa 1600-1700. - Four fragments of Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, seemingly from Yemen. From the style of handwriting, we can assume it was written circa 1600 or earlier. The fragments are Rambam’s passages from Hilchos Shchenim and Nizkei Mamon. Interestingly, the numbers of each Halacha differ from today’s printed editions. See, for example Hilchos Scheinim 8:7, which appears in one fragment as number 11.  Four Handwritten fragments, writing on both sides; ink on paper. Occasional worming, affecting text. One fragment torn into halves.
