Sefer Divrei Yosef, Livorno 1742. Personal Copy of R. Meir Don Plotzki. An Impressive Copy. - A complete copy of Sefer Divrei Yosef, Livorno 1742. First and only edition. Authored by famed Kabbalist R. Yosef Irgas, author of “Shomer Emunim”, and was published by his sons after his death. Contains 68 responsa on various topics. The personal copy of R. Meir Don Plotzki (1866-1928), author of “Kli Chemdah” on the Torah and renowned prewar Torah personality. He was known as a foremost disciple of R. Avraham Bornstein – the Avnei Nezer, and was a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah in Poland. His personal stamp is seen on top left of title page. Also seen in the personal stamp of R. Efraim Shlomo Zalman Weingot of Pietrkow (1844-1912), a Torah scholar of note. He too was a disciple of the Avnei Nezer. In 1911, he published a eulogy bemoaning the death of his Rebbe. A beautiful wide-margined copy, in excellent condition. Printed on thick, white paper. Bound in worn old binding, detached. With bookplate of Zvi Hirsch Winter, a known American book collector in the 20th century, who possessed hundreds of important and rare Hebrew books. [1], 110 pp. Vinograd, Livorno 32.
