A Handwritten Autographed Letter by The Chafetz Chaim, Radun 1910. Written Entirely in His Handwriting. - A beautiful and unique handwritten letter by R. Yisroel Meir HaKohen of Radin - The Holy Chafetz Chaim, handwritten and signed by him, dated Rosh Chodesh Adar Rishon 5670 (February 9, 1910). Addressed to “Doctor Rabbiner Kahan”, the Chafetz Chaim writes to explain that he has sent him the volumes of Mishna Berurah as per his request. He then goes on to list the prices for each, and concludes that he should send payment to his address as indicated below.  Before signing off, the Holy Chafetz Chaim offers his gracious blessing for success: ”May Hashem grant you success in all your endeavors”.  Interestingly, the Chafetz Chaim adds an additional three lines in his holy handwriting, and explains in bewilderment that this letter which he had sent more than one month earlier was returned to him – “and I don’t know the reason for this, nor do I know if you have ever received the Seforim, so please notify me immediately if you have received the Seforim”. Dated “5 Pikudei 5670” (March 17, 1910), a little more than a month after initially sending the letter.  Fully handwritten autograph letters by the Chafetz Chaim are rare. Moreover, seldom do we find his full address included in his letters.  In good condition. Folded, with marks.
