A Handwritten Postcard by R. Chananya Yom Tov Deutsch - Helmetzer Rebbe, Dobšiná 1939. -   A handwritten postcard by R. Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Deutsch, to R. Simcha Nosson Greenberg of Kežmarok (Slovakia) regarding the baking of Matztos. In it, he mentions how he was accustomed to rule according to his Rebbe, R. Mordechai Winkler - author of “Levush Mordechai” regarding the baking of Matzos, however the Gabbai and the Rav were pressuring him to rule otherwise. Very unique content.   R. Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Deutsch (1905-1990), a relative of the Satmar Rebbe and served as Rabbi and Dayan in many Hungarian communities. He emigrated to America after the war and settled in Cleveland. He authored a multi-volume set of Taharas Yom Tov, and was recognized as one of the senior Admorim in America until his passing in 1990.    Handwritten and signed, 2 sides.
