Rare: R. Shlomo Kluger’s Haggadah - Ma’aseh Yedei Yotzer, Lemberg 1863. First Edition. With Additional Notes in Manuscript by R. Yechiel Halperin of Slonim. - A complete copy of the rare first edition of the Haggadah with the commentary of R. Shlomo Kluger of Brody, “Ma’asei Yotzer”. First edition, published during the author’s lifetime. This copy includes an additional 3 pp. of manuscript notes written during the author’s lifetime. Pp. 1 (2 sides) contains comments on this work, while the final leaf contains novellae on Masechta Kesubos. The writer’s name appears written at the top of the leaf: “Hagahos on the Author’s words - Yechiel Halperin”.  R. Yechiel Halperin (died 1883), a prominent Lithuanian Torah scholar and Rabbi in the Grodno Region near Slonim. Recorded in Otzar HaRabbonim no. 9151. His son R. Gedaliah emigrated to the United States in the early 1900’s and served as the Rabbi of Seattle, Washington. He authored a Sefer called “Mei Gabba”.  Rare.
