Rare: Kinnos for Tish’ah B’av According to The Ashkenazic and Polish Rites, Venice 1599. With Additional Supplements in Manuscript. - Presented here is an very rare and highly uncommon edition of the Kinnoth prayers which are recited on Tish’ah B’av (9th of Av), printed in Venice according to the rite of Ashkenazic, Polish and Bohemian Jewry. As it was the custom of many to bury their Kinnoth prayers at the end of each year, barely any Kinnoth have survived, let alone from over 400 years back.    This copy contains an additional 6 manuscript leaves (12 sides) containing additional supplements and prayers, such as Tikkun Chatzos, in 17th or 18th century Italian hand. Handwritten annotations seen on various leaves. Exceedingly Rare. To the best of our knowledge this edition has never appeared at auction. 76 pp. 13cm. In overall very good condition; pp. 17 lacking, supplied in 17th century handwritten Italian manuscript. Vinograd, Venice 882.
