Sefer Pnei David - Chidah, Livorno 1792. First Edition. With Handwritten Manuscript Leaves. - A complete copy of Sefer Pnei David, published by R. Chaim Yosef David Azulai during his lifetime and printed at Livorno in 1792. Also contains another small work entitled “Tzavari Shalal” which is essentially the same work, but dedicated to the Haftorahs.  This copy includes [2] additional leaves - 4 sides - of handwritten manuscript from an unknown Torah scholar and disciple of the Chida. He quotes his Teacher the Chida numerous times throughout.  Although his identity is unknown, it is apparent that he was a person of stature. Presumably, this copy was owned by him since the handwritten notes are written on the fly leaf pages of this copy. In very good-excellent condition. Some leaves slightly browned.
