Seder Berachos — The Blessings, Expressions of Praise and Thanksgiving With an Interlinear Translation, London 1829. - A very interesting and accurate interlinear translation of the various Blessings said throughout the year on all occasions.  This work was translated and authored by R. David Aaron De Sola of London. David Aaron De Sola was descended from a distinguished family of Sephardim, who emigrated from Spain in 1492 on the expulsion of the Jews from that country by Ferdinand and Isabella. In 1818, David Aaron De Sola was called to London to become one of the ministers of the Bevis Marks Congregation under Rabbi Raphael Meldola (who would also later become his father-in-law). Rabbi Rephael Meldola is famously known by his work “Chuppat Chatanim”. With a unique dedication page to philanthropist Moses Montefiore, repeated again in author’s preface: “Be it sufficient to state that the gentleman alluded to is Moses Montefiore Esq. of Park Lane, to whom with unfeigned pleasure... to offer my sincere thanks for the trouble and interest he has been pleased to take, to promote my present undertaking.” In very good-excellent condition.
