Sha'alos U'Teshuvos Rashban written by R. Shlomo Zvi Schick Rabbi of Karcag. Munkacs, 1900. R. Schick was born in Hungary in 1844, and he was a blood-relative and disciple of R. Moshe Schick, commonly known as the Maharam Schick. R. Schick was known to be very open-minded, and as such he was considered an extremist to many in Hungary at that time. As an example, he was virtually the only ultra-orthodox Rabbi who allowed those who wished to obtain a college degree. This decision was met with criticism from fellow Rabbonim. His personality notwithstanding, he maintained relationships with the leading Hungarian Rabbis during his time, such as R. Meir Perles of Karoly (Carei), Maharam Schick of Chust, R. David Schick of Tokaj and many others. R. Schick passed away in 1916.
