Bidspirit auction | Check Made to R. Berel

Check Made to R. Berel Soloveitchick, with His Signature. New York 1960.  A Check in the amount of $50.00 for the family of the Brisker Rav, R. Yitzchok Ze’ev Soloveitchik. It was deposited and signed by his eldest son, R. Yosef Dov (Berel) Soloveitchik, Rosh Yeshiva of Brisk. His actual signature is seen on the back.  The check was written and signed by R. Yosef Eliyahu Henkin, as well as R. Pinchos Teitz of Elizabeth. They were in charge of “Ezras Torah” at that time.  This check was written a few months after the passing of the Brisker Rav. On the left of the check we see “for the family of the Brisker Rav... Press Street”.  In very good condition.
