Sefer Pri Megadim on Orach Chaim , Lvov 1858. The Personal Copy of R. Yitzchak Tabak, Grandson of the 'Erech Shai' of Sighet.
An impressive copy of the Pri Megadim, printed in Lvov in 1858. This copy belonged to R. Yitzchak Tabak , son of R. Meir David Tabak who was the Dayan of Sighet, Romania. His grandfather was the famous R. Shlomo Yehudah Tabak, author of 'Erach Shai' and Dayan of Sighet, Romania. R. Yitzchak was also involved in the publication of his Grandfather's Erech Shai on Chumash, published in 1928. His exact birthdate in unknown; he died in Satmar in 1939.
Personal stamp and signature of R. Yitzchak Tabak seen on flyleaf. Many handwritten notes are also seen. A marginal gloss is also seen on pp. 4.
In very good condition, original binding. Top cover board detatched from spine.
