Classic: Sefer Sha'agas Aryeh, First Edition. Frankfurt Oder 1756. Sefer Sha'agas Aryeh was written by R. Aryeh Leib Ginzburg of Metz. His Sefer became as classic amongst Torah scholars and was cherished by the Great Torah scholars of all generations. In his introduction to 'Nefesh HaChaim', R. Itzele of Volozhin elaborates on his father's relationship with the Sha'agas Aryeh. R. Chaim of Volozhin became acquainted with him as a young child, during the time the Sha'agas Aryeh was serving as Rav of Volozhin. In overall good condition, title page slightly restored causing a minor loss of text. Light water stains. This copy does not contain leaves 90-93 printed in some variants of this edition.
