Lot of 2 Early Precision Balances c. Early 20th C. - C-22264 Two early precision laboratory balances, including a Sartorius-Werke Göttingen enclosed analytical balance with wood and glass case and a Roberval-style counter balance with a carved wood base, marble top, and loose metal pans. Both scales are incomplete, with loose and detached components present and not fully assembled. Sartorius balance has loose parts within the case. Marble-top scale has edge chips, loose pans, an open slot in the wooden base possibly for a missing drawer, and an unidentified fitting or lock opening (which may be the tare setting).
