Shure Microphone w 2 Atlas Sound Stands, c. 1950s - C-20967 Lot includes a Shure PE54 Series 2 “Unidyne” dynamic microphone mounted to a weighted desktop stand together with an Atlas Sound flexible gooseneck microphone stand marked AD-12. The PE54 is part of Shure’s long-running Unidyne line of cardioid microphones developed for public address, broadcast, and recording applications, recognizable by its ribbed black housing and compact cylindrical form. The Atlas Sound stand features a chrome flexible shaft with mounting base and threaded microphone attachment. Produced by Shure Brothers Incorporated of Evanston, Illinois circa 1950s–1960s. Atlas Sound Corp. microphone hardware produced during the same general period. Surface wear, oxidation, dust accumulation, and finish loss present throughout from age and use. Microphone and stands not tested. Weighted base shows rust and wear to underside. Atlas Sound stand retains mounting wear and scratches from prior use. Microphone w/ stand: 6” Diam x 17 ” H
