Freeway Steel Tricycle, Big-Wheel c. 1950s - C-20963 Heavy gauge steel children’s tricycle or ”Big Wheel” style vehicle with pressed steel wheels finished in red paint, tubular handlebars with red grips, and formed metal saddle seat. Bearing cover of front wheel is marked “ASF Freeway Cleveland Ohio.” Features a large front drive wheel with pedal crank assembly and rear axle-mounted wheels in a classic mid-century playground and sidewalk toy form. Produced by ASF, Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1950s–1960s. Wear, scratches, paint loss, and oxidation present throughout from age and use. Tires show age-related wear, inch long gouge in front wheel. Pedals are cracked. Structurally sound overall. 36” L x 21” W x 19.5” H
