Bristol Glazed, Blue Banded Stoneware Jug w Handle - C-20796 Stoneware jug with cylindrical body, tapered shoulder, applied loop handle, and narrow mouth opening. Decorated with double cobalt blue banding at the shoulder and lower body over a cream glazed surface. Traditional utilitarian storage form with unglazed base. Produced in the early to mid 20th century using Bristol-glaze method. Shows crazing, glaze wear, chips to the base rim, and age-related wear throughout. 6.25” DIam. x 11.5 H
