Antique Chisel and Metal File Hasp - C-17496 Pair of hand tools including one forged steel chisel and one long grooved file hasp. The chisel features a squared striking end and beveled cutting tip, suited for carpentry or general trade use. The file hasp, with its tapered form and longitudinal grooves, was designed for shaping and smoothing wood or metal surfaces. Together, they represent the durable, utilitarian hand tools relied upon in early 20th-century workshops. Both pieces show oxidation, surface wear, and pitting consistent with long use.
