2 Pastoral Scenes - Victorian Landscape, Hunting - C-19122 Decorative framed pair consisting of a large hand-tinted pastoral landscape and a smaller titled sporting print, each presented in period wood frames. The larger example depicts a tranquil lakeside homestead at sunset, with stone wall, moored rowboat, scattered shoreline boulders, and a cluster of houses nestled beneath tall trees. The companion work is titled “HUNTING FISHING AND FOREST SCENES – SHANTY ON THE LAKE SHORE, ” showing a group of men gathered beside a rustic lean-to with rifles, dog, and campfire, overlooking a mountainous lake landscape. Both frames show surface wear including scuffs and finish rubbing. The larger landscape exhibits mild surface hazing beneath the glazing and age-related toning. The sporting print shows light mat toning and minor spotting consistent with age. Overall condition appropriate to period decorative display. 24.5” W x 20.5” H
