The Ideal 55 Slider is a chest-type vending machine produced from the late 1940s to the early 1960s, known for its simple exterior and complex interior. It can hold 50 bottles on sliding rails and has extra storage for 80 more, with a chromed lid, brand logo, and a bottle opener on the front. This machine, similar to the Glasco GBV50, used a reliable Tecumseh cooling system and was made for various drink brands over the years. Exhibits moderate signs of wear including paint loss on branding, tarnish, and rust. This piece works, perhaps a bit too well, as it's known to freeze the items inside.
