Signed ”G. Max Dresden” along the lower right. With a Parke-Bernet Auction label, Lot 823, affixed along the verso of the frame. Unframed; height: 24 in x width: 20 in. Framed; height: 33 in x width: 29 in x depth: 2 1/2 in. Condition: The colors are bold and deep. Due to a thickly applied and uneven varnish, it is difficult to ascertain the extent of inpainting and restoration. However, there are several small areas of distinguishable inpainting throughout. The canvas has been relined. Light soiling to the verso. Some wear to the frame.
