19th c. Chinese Blue & Beige Lotus Blossom Carpet - Chinese carpet featuring stylized lotus blossoms on pale pink or beige ground, ca. last quarter of the 19th century. Enclosed by deep blue bands along the borders. Provenance: The Distinguished Collection of Leo & Doris Hodroff. Length: 10 ft 8 in x width: 6 ft 2 in. Condition: The colors are slightly faded, primarily along the center of the rug. There are scattered areas of soiling. There are no tears. There are a few small scattered areas with signs of insect activity, primarily along the border. Wear to the fringe.
