Chinese Export Porcelain Glazing Trade Painting - Chinese Guangzhou School gouache watercolor on paper painting depicting the production and glazing of export porcelain in a Cantonese workshop, Qing dynasty, ca. 19th century. Sight; height: 14 1/2 in x width: 18 1/2 in. Framed; height: 23 1/2 in x width: 27 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible tears, large losses, or signs of restoration when examined under UV light. There is a small and light diagonal scuff as well as a small area of soiling along the lower right quadrant, behind the seated man with teal tunic. Housed under a non-acidic mat. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
