Chinese Export Kangxi B&W Porcleain Parrot Plate - Chinese Kangxi period blue and white export porcelain plate, Qing dynasty, ca. 18th century. Depicting a central parrot perched on a branch above stylized waves, surrounded by a geometric honeycomb and floral patterned rim. Similar in style to Zhangzhou kiln and Swatow wares. With four-character Kangxi mark and of the period. Diameter: 8 1/2 in. Condition: There is a hairline crack along the rim that extends inwards approximately 3/4 inch. There are two small chips along the rim. There is a small rounded loss along the center of the plate; this is possibly a firing flaw. There appear to be a small chip near the glazed mark along the underside. Small chip along the footrim.
