Chinese Qing ”Eight Immortals” Pottery Vessel - Chinese Qing dynasty ceramic bowl, incense burner, or brush pot. Featuring eight applied Daoist immortal figural forms along the exterior of the vessel. Executed in green, yellow, and aubergine purple glazes reminiscent of sancai-style or 17th-century famille verte biscuit ware vessels. Height: 4 in x diameter: 4 3/4 in. Condition: There is evidence of a repair along the upper rim. Some small cracks along the upper rim. There is a small repair to one of the figure's robes evident under UV light inspection. There are small losses to three of the figures, specifically to the instruments and objects in hand. Some cracking along the lower exterior of the bowl; however, the cracks do not extend into the interior. Accretions gathered along the interior. Light wear along the foot rim.
