Chinese Silver, Jade, & Semi-Precious Stone Brooch - Chinese gilt silver brooch with domed concentric tiers of inset semi-precious stones including tourmaline, sapphire, and jade, Qing dynasty, ca. 1890-1914. The beads repurposed from an earlier necklace. Marked ”China” along the mounting. Provenance: By repute, from a Minneapolis estate; Private Minnesota Collection. Diameter: 55 mm x depth: 20 mm. Condition: The metal is tarnished. There is one orange-colored stone which may be a later replacement and is placed pavillion-side up.
