Salvador Dali ”Helen of Troy” Lithograph Print - Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989). Lithograph print on paper titled ”Helen of Troy, ” from the ”Hommage a Homere” suite, 1977. Depicting a surrealist reimagining of the classical Greek myth, featuring Helen of Troy as a seated angelic figure whose head is entirely replaced by a vibrant bouquet of blooming flowers. Pencil signed along the lower right; editioned ”AP” along the lower left. With the suite colophon, also pencil editioned ”AP” along the cover, retained within a protective plastic sleeve adhered along the verso. Reference: Field 77-4-B. Sight; height: 29 1/2 in x width: 21 1/2 in. Framed; height: 36 1/2 in x width: 27 3/4 in x depth: 1 1/2 in. Condition: There are no visible tears, losses, or restorations. There is a small crease along the lower right corner. Very light undulation. The work is floated in frame on a non-acidic mat. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
