Grp 50 Doug Danz ”Vida IV” Silkscreen Prints - Doug Danz (American, 1939-2020). Group of 50 serigraph prints on paper titled ”Vida IV, ” 1978. Each depicting a vibrant Southwest inspired desert landscape scene within a central circle. Each pencil signed along the lower right; titled along the lower center; editioned along the lower left. Doug Danz was a watercolorist and silkscreen printmaker whose abstract images are culled from recognizable aspects of the American landscape but move further towards concern with an abstract two-dimensionality. His silkscreen prints have a flat, emblematic presence. Each; Height: 30 1/2 in x width: 25 1/2 in. Condition: There are no major tears or losses. To some of the sheets, there is light wear along the extreme edges, including minute creases along the corners. Individual sheets not inspected. The works are not framed.
