Dr. Seuss ”Green Cat” Mixed Media Pigment Print - Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) (American, 1904-1991). Mixed media pigment print on canvas titled ”Green Cat in Uleaborg Finland Subway, ” 2016; printed by Kolibri Art Studio, Gardena, California. After an original painting by Theodor Geisel of the same title, from the ”Secret Cats” collection, 1964. Depicting a dizzying, cubic spiral of bright orange that fills the entire canvas. Hidden within the center of the chaotic web is a bright lime-green cat. Signed in plate along the lower left; numbered 256/850 along the lower right. With a Certificate of Authenticity adhered along the verso. Sight; height: 37 1/2 in x width: 29 1/2 in. Framed; height: 40 1/2 in x width: 32 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: There are no tears, losses, or repairs. A few light scuffs to the surface of the print. There is not glass or plexiglass. Not inspected out of frame.
