Bryan Hunt Patinated Bronze Abstract Sculpture - Bryan Hunt (American, b. 1947). Patinated bronze abstract expressionist sculpture, 1987. Featuring a heavily textured, green-patinated vertical column that tapers sharply toward a small spherical base. Rising to a wedge-like crown, the elongated structure evokes a form reminiscent of a human figure. Incised signature and date along base. Provenance: Blum Helman Gallery, December 1988; Private Minnesota Collection. Height: 27 1/4 in x width: 6 in x depth: 6 in. Weight: 17 lbs. Condition: There are no bends, breaks, or losses. Verdigris patination appears original to the artistic process. Light wear to the underside of the base.
