Siah Armajani ”Sound Towers” Lithograph 1972 - Siah Armajani (Iranian/American, 1939-2020). Lithograph print on paper titled ”Sound Towers, ” 1972; from the ”Tower Projects” series, 1969-1970. Depicting a conceptual architectural design of two brick structures designated as ”Front View” along the left and ”Back View” along the right. Each building featuring a series of five interconnected, cylindrical towers, built within a block-like base. Below the structures, in print annotations, diagrams, and mathematical formulas add to the overall blueprint design. Pencil signed, dated, and editioned ”Proof” along the lower left. Titled in print along the lower left. Sight; height: 29 1/2 in x width: 41 1/2 in. Framed; height: 31 in x width: 43 in x depth: 1 1/2 in. Condition: There are no visible tears, losses, or repairs. Due to the deckled edges, it is difficult to discern if there are any minute or small losses along the perimeter, however none are obviously evident. There is a minute spot of soiling along the lower left edge. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame, including separation to the joints along the lower bar and some horizontal scuffs along the left side to the plexiglass. Work not inspected out of frame.
