Robert H. Cook ”Samson” Bronze Sculpture 2000 - Robert Howard Cook (American, 1921-2017). Brutalist wax-cast bronze sculpture titled ”Samson, ” 2000. Depicting a highly textured and stylized male figure in a wide, athletic lunge with arms outstretched and palms flexed outward. Incised signature and dated along the base of the bronze. Further incised ”11/Fabrizio Naggi.” (Including base) Height: 73 in x width: 96 1/2 in x depth: 41 in. Condition: To the bronze statue, there are no breaks, bends, or losses. Patina throughout. Light dust gathered along recessed areas. To the base, there are small chips along the extreme edges. The wood paneling is detachable.
