Pencil signed along the lower right quadrant; numbered 8/300 along the lower left. With a Certificate of Authenticity affixed along the verso; dated, titled, and numbered along the certificate. Depicting a scene from Miguel de Cervantes' novel when Don Quixote encounters a prisoner trapped inside a cage-like carriage as they are being transported across a barren landscape. Sight; height: 22 1/4 in x width: 19 1/4 in. Framed; height: 33 1/2 in x width: 30 1/2 in x depth: 2 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible tears or losses. The sheet is slightly toned along the extreme edges. There are a few small, scattered areas of foxing. Floated in frame under an acidic mat. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the plexiglass, including light scratches and accretions. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame. There is a tear to the backing along the verso.
