3 Chatham Yellowstone River Suite Stone Lithographs - Russell Chatham (American, 1939-2019). Suite of three lithographs titled ”Yellowstone River: Summer, ” ”Yellowstone River: Fall, ” and ”Yellowstone River: Winter.” From the ”Yellowstone River” suite, 1982. Each work is pencil signed, titled, editioned ”62/135,” and dated along the lower right corner. Further signed and editioned along the title page. The lithographs are an early and rare example of Chatham's work, where the artist worked on stone rather than employing more modern methods of lithography. The lot also includes an invitation to an exhibition of Chatham's works at Stone Press Gallery, dated April 15, 1982. Provenance: The Estate of Russell Chatham; Private Collection, Vermont. Light wear along the extreme deckled edges. There are light handling marks and faint creases along the upper center and the lower left quadrant of ”Winter” in addition to the upper and right edges of ”Summer.” The works are not framed. Light wear to the portfolio.
