Early 18th c. Pastoral Landscape O/B Painting - Oil on board pastoral landscape painting, early 18th century. Depicting two central herdsmen with their cattle, sheep, and dog with rolling green hills in the background. With an illegible inscription along the upper stretcher bar along the verso. Unframed; height: 12 1/2 in x width: 16 1/4 in. Framed; height: 18 1/2 in x width: 22 in x depth: 2 3/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. Along the central third of the artwork, there is separation to the paneling, resulting in horizontal losses to the painting. There is craquelure throughout. Wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
