Angelo Garbizza Les Ennuyees de Longchamp Painting - Angelo Garbizza (Italian, 1777-1813). Watercolor and ink on paper titled ”Les Ennuyees de Longchamp (The Bored Women of Longchamp), ” 1806. Depicting a group of fashionably dressed Parisian women sitting in the gardens of Longchamp surrounded by empty chairs. Signed along the lower left; titled along the lower center; dated along the lower right. Further attributed and titled along the lower margin. Provenance: Bonhams, Los Angeles, California; Private collection, Minnesota. Sight; height: 7 1/4 in x width: 9 3/4 in. Framed; height: 13 3/4 in x width: 15 3/4 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: The sheet is toned. There are no visible tears or signs of repair. There are two minute frits along the extreme upper left edge, visible upon close inspection. Laid to an acidic mat. Framed under glass. Wear to the frame including small breaks to the glass along the upper left corner. Not inspected out of frame.
