Oil on canvas portrait painting possibly titled ”The Sicilian Woman.” Depicting a side profile of a woman with long red hair cascading down her right shoulder with a red book in her hands. She is wearing a black head covering draped over her head and a plain dark colored dress. Signed along the upper right. With an ”Indigo Seas” tag along the verso; titled ”La Femme Scesilienne” along the tag. Height: 24 1/4 in x width: 19 3/4 in x depth: 3/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no tears. Minute losses to the pigment along the extreme edges. The canvas is slightly loose. The work is not framed.
