Chinese Longquan Celadon Pottery Lotus Dish - Chinese Longquan celadon-glazed ceramic ”lotus” bowl dish. Of lobed form depicting intricately incised scrolling foliate and floral motifs. Provenance: By repute, purchased in China, ca. 1947-1950; thence by descent. Height: 5 in x diameter: 8 3/4 in. Condition: Crazing throughout the glaze. There are signs of restoration and deeply toned repaired cracks along the lower third of the bowl; there are some minute chips and areas of flaking to the glaze along the contours of the cracks. Some wear to the footrim.
