James H. Owen Early Jugtown Pottery ”Sung” Vase - James H. Owen (American, 1866-1923) for Jugtown, North Carolina. Early Jugtown ware pottery vase with ”Sung” style amber orange glaze and olive green accent along the shoulder, ca. 1910-1923. Impressed mark along the underside. Height: 8 1/4 in x diameter: 6 in. Condition: Crazing throughout. There are no major breaks or cracks. There are minute areas throughout with minute losses to the glaze. Light wear to the footrim including two chips.
