Teco Roman Salad Bowl Holmes Smith - Holmes Smith (20th c.) for Teco/Gates Potteries, United States. Roman Salad Bowl, design #400, ca. 1910. Earthenware with matte green glaze. This was a custom piece made for Minnesota architect Roy Childs Jones (1885-1963), and bears his RCJ monogram in low relief along the side. Teco mark along the underside in three places. Height: 5 7/8 in x diameter: 11 7/8 in. Condition: A few small chips professionally restored. A few small chips to the glaze throughout. Crazing to the interior glaze.
