3 Mesoamerican Olmec or Mayan Jade Celts - Group of three Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican Olmec or Mayan carved jade greenstone celts, Classic period, ca. 900 BCE-900 CE. The larger and moderately sized stone with estimated Mohs scale hardnesses of 6.5-7. The larger stone with red cinnabar stains. Height ranges from 2 1/2 in to 5 3/4 in; width ranges from 1 1/2 in to 1 3/4 in. Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use.
