2 Inuit Carvings - Group of two Inuit carved organic materials including one slender and delicate totem carved by Irene Kataq, with a base, signed in syllabics, circa 1970. One etched carving depicting an Inuk, cairbou and fish. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height ranges from 7 to 7 1/2 in. Condition: Wear and discoloration commensurate with the material. All components present. The etched piece's wooden dowel that attached it to the base has snapped with part in the base part in the carving.
