6 Inuit Miniature Carved Birds - Group of six diminutive carved birds, including: Four Chris Aningayou (Yupik, b. 20th century) carved organic material birds (three Canadian geese, one gold eyed goose). Each signed in marker along the bottom. One carved wood bird, potentially a raven and potentially from the Western Arctic circa 1950. One carved stone bird, potentially a duck and potentially from the Western Arctic circa 1950. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height ranges from 1 1/2 in to 2 1/2 in. Condition: Glue residue on stone bird, surface wear commensurate with all materials.
