Carved organic material depicting a crane like bird bending over a clutch of two eggs, on a base that appears like a rocky escarpment. Signed in syllabics along the base. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Height: 4 in x width: 7 1/2 in x depth: 2 1/2 in. Condition: Surface wear commensurate with the material.
