3 Indigenous Sewing & Folding Tools - Group of three indigenous folding, sewing, domestic arts tools. Including: one carved wooden Makah or Salish Pacific Northwest mat creaser depicting two birds. One ulu knife with stone base and handle. One organic material and hide needle case and thimble. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. (Mat creaser) height: 2 3/4 in x width: 6 1/4 in x depth: 1 in. (Ulu, with base) height: 6 in x width: 5 1/4 in x depth: 3 in. (Needle case) length: 7 1/2 in x diameter: 1 1/4 in. Condition: There are no major or obvious breaks or losses. The needle case is without needles.
