5 pcs Inuit Tool Group - Group of five Inuit tools, including a harpoon head, possibly 800 yrs old, from Port Clarence; an animal hide box; one Inuit weight, from Brevif Mission, Port Clarence; one hide scraper, ca. 1850s, metal from shipwrecks; and one ulu knife. Provenance: Purchased from the Alaska General Store, Anchorage, Alaska, 1987; Private Minnesota Collection. Height ranges from 2 in to 9 1/4 in; width ranges from 1 1/4 in to 5 3/4 in; depth ranges from 1/4 in to 4 in. Condition: Wear throughout commensurate with age, use, and material. Tarnishing to the metal componenet. There is a break to the harpoon head.
