Bering Sea Inuit Carved Gaming Board - Bering Strait or Alaskan Inuit carved organic material gaming board, ca. 1900-1920. Depicting etched birds and a dog along the length of the board. With pegged avian-form game piece. Height: 1 1/4 in x width: 8 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: There are no major breaks or losses. There are some porous pitted areas along the exreme edges of the object, inherent vice of the medium. There are some residual glue accretions visible along the underside of the bird, where the peg is attached.
