13 Pcs Inuit Jewelry: Necklace, Pendants & Buttons - Group of thirteen pieces of Inuit jewelry items, composed of carved organic material. Including: One necklace comprised of long tapered beads interspersed with carvings in the form of arctic animals and figures. Five buttons with depicting carved Inuit figures in profile. Five carved pendants on sinew strand; three of pendants in the form of ulus knives; two depicting faces. Two pendants in the form of birds, suspended from a sinew strand. Provenance: Heard Museum, Arizona; Private Collection, New York. Length ranges from 3/4 in to 17 in. Condition: The necklace has been restrung. Some discoloration and wear. Some wear to button loops.
