Early 20th c. Chinese Peking Wool Rug 5'2” x 3' - Chinese Peking wool area rug, early 20th century. The carpet with central medallion composed of lotus blossoms and vining motifs. The symmetrical field depicting dense floral forms and dragons along the corners. Bordered by similar repeating motifs along the mainstripe, inner-guard, and outer guard. Executed in blues and cream. Length: 5 ft 2 in x width: 3 ft. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no major visible tears or losses. There are no major signs of insect activity. There are no odors. Light wear to the fringe.
