Arnold Herstand Abstract Oil Painting - Arnold Herstand (American, 1925-1989). Oil on canvas painting depicting a colorful abstract composition. Signed along the lower right. Herstand was the former president of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In later years he worked as an art dealer in New York, helping to establish an office for the French-based Galerie Maeght. Unframed; height: 24 in x width: 28 1/2 in. Framed; height: 29 in x width: 33 in x depth: 1 1/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and deep. There are no tears or losses. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
